Nothing brings us greater joy than witnessing our once street cats and dogs find a loving forever family. We are immensely grateful to our amazing community of adopters who have chosen to give a home to an animal from Turkey. Thanks to our wonderful adopters,  we have successfully rehomed countless cats and dogs, offering them a new lease on life.

Tinky was approximately 4 months old in July 2023 when a villager contacted us about a blind kitten in their garden. Upon collecting her, it was evident that she had a severe eye infection in both eyes, beyond any treatment to save them. Both of her eyes had to be removed to prevent ongoing infection. Taylor came into our care as a kitten after being hit by a car, resulting in the amputation of one of his front legs. He has been a tripod since his early days. While in a foster home in Turkey, he survived a major earthquake in February 2023 that claimed thousands of lives. Undeterred, Taylor embarked on a journey to San Francisco in search of his forever home and quickly found one. Now, he lives a joyful and happy life.

Chance endured unimaginable neglect, hardship, and poor health on the streets of Turkey before we rescued him in July 2022. He was on the brink of death. Witnessing his remarkable transformation through medical care and love has been truly inspiring. Anyone who met Chance couldn't help but fall in love with him. He captured the heart of a veterinary nurse during his surgery and found a loving home. Now, he enjoys the life he truly deserves in Derbyshire, UK.

Daisy - Istanbul, Türkiye

Abandoned on the streets of Istanbul once her kitten cuteness began to fade, she found herself struggling to survive in an unforgiving environment. Daisy's lack of street-savviness led to her being hit by a car and attacked by dogs resulting in a broken chin chin that required treatment and operation. She is now in her new loving home enjoying being indoors away from harm's way and no longer having to fend for herself.

Eli - San Francisco, USA

Eli is a rescue from a town called Yusufeli, Artvin in Turkey. We don't know how she lost one back legs and her tail. She was struggling to feed herself and kept coming into an office where an animal lover asked us to save her.  Eli has left all the hardship she experienced to a life of not having to worry about where her next meal is coming from, sleeping in a warm house in comfy cosy beds.

We found Benny during one of our feeding rounds. Noticed that he was deaf and streets were too dangerous for him to fend for himself. He travelled all the way to San Francisco to find his forever people. His adoptive family also have someone close to them with hearing impairment and can relate to Benny's condition. He left his former life in the streets to a life of luxury and love in the USA.

Ben (aka Tiger)  ended up in a neglectful shelter as a kitten with a broken back leg and lost one his eyes to severe untreated infection. He had no chase of coming out of that shelter alive. With the help of the shelter cleaner, we took Ben and had him treated and placed him in a foster home in Istanbul with a lovely Brazilian lady. His foster mum fell in love with Ben and decided to adopt him. Ben and his adoptive family moved to the UK Sept 2022 and is now living the best life in Birmingham

Oscar - Hertford, UK

Oscar - Hertford, UK

Oscar (aka Scout) was a street cat in Istanbul trying to survive on the streets facing hunger and abuse from the locals. He suffered head injuries because people threw large stones at him when begging for food. An angel came to his rescue, brought him to the UK giving him a chance of a safe loving home. He hit the forever home jackpot and is now living the best life in Hertford with his cat siblings Grace and Harry.

Honey - Cirencester, UK

Honey along with over 20 dogs was dumped in the middle of mountains by the local authorities leaving them to die with no food or water. She lived in one our feeding points for 1.5 years before she got lucky and found a forever home in the UK now enjoying her walks in the English countryside for sure.

Hesna - Vancouver, Canada

Hesna - Vancouver, Canada

Hesna (aka Lourdes) had a tough life - starved in the mountains, shot with a rifle, pellets lodged in various parts of her body. Despite all the cruelty she's experienced, she is the sweets girl you'll ever meet. She was discriminated by potenial adopters because of her size and breed. She's now living in Vancouver with an amazing family who loves her to the moon and back. She've even got her own Instagram account @dog_days_with_hesna

Raven - Boston, USA

Raven - Boston, USA

Raven was hit by a car left untreated for days with a broken leg on the side of the road for days before we picked her up. She's made a full recovery after a period of rehabilitation and found her forever people in Boston now living the best life.

Tiana - San Francisco, USA

Tiana is a tripod energetic girl. Her leg was amputated after a hit and run and ended up in  neglectful shelter suffering from URI and infection. She's been fully treated and turned out to be a super charming girl who knows how to make people fall in love with her. She's now an American citizen living in San Francisco.

Lolita was rescued from a neglectful shelter in Istanbul. She is tripod - lost one of her probably in a car accident. She had no chance of ever being adopted so we decided to give her a chance. She is now living the best cat life in San Francisco.

Archie - Stanwood,  USA

Archie, despite being blind lives as a normal life and charms everyone to death. He was fending for himself on the streets of Istanbul until a kind hearted person spotted him and decided to save him. It's a miracle how he survived on the streets being blind not getting hit by a car.  We found him the best home he could have dreamed of and living the best life in the Washington State area.

Chester is one of our three legged boys. He has such a sweet endearing personality. He lost one of his front legs in a hit and run and ended up in an neglectful shelter in Istanbul. He had no chance of ever coming out there. We took him under our care, treated him and found a home in the USA.

Summer - Toronto, Canada

Summer is having the best life with her adoptive family. She was dumped in a rubbish field in a remote area with no food unless an animal lover takes food once a week or whatever they can scavenge on from the dumping ground. Summer was attacked by larger dogs trying to get some food. She's sustained serious injuries to her face, eye, chin and jaw. She was left untreated for days before a volunteer spotted her condition and took her to the nearest animal hospital for treatment.

We picked Dusty and Dutchess at a busy taxi station in Istanbul as Dusty had some sort of a genetic deformity that meant that she wouldn't have been able to survive long in the streets. Her hind legs are not straight. When we sent someone to pick her up she had a mate, Dutchess who jumped in the carrier with Dusty so we couldn't leave her behind. They got adopted together and now live a pampered life in Boston.

Snow was abandoned by his previous owners. He was really struggling to adjust to life on the street and lack of regular food in his belly made him very weak and ill. When we picked him up he was skin and bones and was in a very sorry state.

Arlo - Toronto, Canada

We've spotted Arlo wandering in the street suffering from severe mange and dangerously skinny. He was so bad that he had no hair left on him, but somehow he was still fighting to survive. We took Arlo under our wings and nursed him back to good health. We believe he was previously owned, probably used as a guard dog as his ears are cropped and dumped on the streets when he developed mange and owners didn't want to pay for treatment. Ear cropping is common in Turkey unfortunately.

Casper came to our care when he was a little kitten when he was no more than 2 months old when on street hanging in the middle of a busy street no mum in sight. He then followed someone into their workplace and sat on the shoes in the porch area for some comfort and warmth. We were asked to take him otherwise he would had to live in cold, hungry and facing all sorts of danger.

Bluebell came into our care when she was about 4 months old. We spotted her during one of our feeding rounds and she wasn't eating and looked poorly. Once she was better, she got adopted out in Turkey,but when we checked in on her we were not satisfied with her care and took her back. She now lives in San Francisco.

Monty was spotted by one of the volunteers at a vet clinic. He was brought in for a mange treatment, but the person (not sure if the owner) abandoned him at the vets never returned to collect him. . He had nowhere to go and the vets asked us if we would consider helping him. He was only about 2 months old then looked very unhappy with life. We couldn't let him go back to a miserable life on the streets.

Bella was found on the street when she was barely 3 months old with a massive open wound on one of her front legs, swollen so badly she couldn't step on it. We don't know how she sustained that injury. She was also skin and bones, left starving, basically having a tough life all alone until an animal lover spotted her and asked us for help to get her treated.

Mia - Los Angeles, USA

We pulled Mia off the street when we spotted that her face covered in ringworm left untreated for months. She stayed in the vets for a number of days and during her stay she surprised us by giving birth to 3 kittens. We didn't know she was pregnant. To top it up, the vet said they have an orphan kitten and need a mum cat. Trying to save one cat we've ended with Mia her 3 kittens and one orphan as a package!

Hunter was abandoned at the vets by his owner. The vets asked us if we would consider taking him under our care. Otherwise he was going back on the streets. We couldn't let that happen. He now lives in New York with another rescue cat mate also from Istanbul.

Gulben - Oregon, USA

Along with her two other siblings, she was dumped in a feeding area with larger dogs where she was attacked. She now has the safety of a family who loves her dearly.

Finn - San Francisco, USA

Our founder spotted Finn on one of her trips to Istanbul. She noticed that Finn looked poorly and on a closer look she discovered that Finn just had his tail amputated and left on the street in that condition. She took and left in the care of a local person and while she found him a home. He now lives in San Francisco with a lady who loves him dearly and never has to suffer in the streets.

Toby - Innsbruck, Austria

Toby was left blind due to a trauma to the head. He was super scared of anyone touching him. It took months to gain his confidence or let anyone touch him. He found his loving home in Innsbruck and is no longer scared of people.

Molly - New Orleans, USA

Molly along with 10 other dogs was dumped by the local authorities in the mountains to die of starvation. We were alerted to this situation and picked up Molly and the others. She gave birth to puppies a day after she was brought to safety. She was too weak herself to care for her pups. All her pups died. We've nursed her back to good health and now living with her adoptive family being treated with love and all the care she needs.

Found in the street very ill and skinny. She stayed in our care for months before she got lucky and found a forever home in New York.

Rufus - Sammamish, USA

Rufus had a miserable existence. He was suffering from severe mange, barely getting any food and got shot in the leg because people didn't want him around. We wanted to put an end to his suffering and took him under our wings and transformed that scabies covered dog to a handsome gentle boy. He now lives an amazing life, camping, going to the beach exploring new places and charms anyone who meets him. We are still told that he is the best dog anyone can ever wish for.

Leo - New York, USA

Leo was spotted during our feeding round. His face was covered in what looked like a massive infection that was left untreated for weeks, possibly months. He was taken to the nearest vet for treatment and he stayed at the clinic for weeks before he was better and you could start to see the side of his face. He has been so resilient and was determined to get better. He cuddled his way to New York and found an amazing family of his own.

Daisy and her three other siblings were dumped in the streets. A villager was just offering them to passersby. A volunteer came across them and took all of them and asked us for help. We have homed Daisy and her sister Kara in San Francisco, light brown homed by one of our rescue partners in the UK and one of the siblings died unfortunately.  Daisy was at foster care in San Francisco, but we had a foster fail, and the family decided to adopt her. She is having a life she couldn't have dreamt of.

Taylan lost one of his eyes as a result of a hit and run accident. Loss of one eye didn't stop him charming his way all the way to New York, finding his forever family.

Oliver - Innsbruck, Austria

Oliver came into our care when he was very ill receiving treatment with infection and lost a couple of his back teeth due a trauma to his chin, most likely hit by someone. He had nowhere to go once discharged from the clinic, and we were asked to take him. We made sure he was treated and flew all the way to Austria to his forever home.

We believe Daisy was in the hand of a breeder and  dumped in the mountains when she was no longer producing. She appeared in one of our volunteer's feeding area so scared, always hiding between the two stone slabs.  She had an epic journey coming to the UK to her adoptive daddies in Manchester because of the travel restrictions due to the pandemic. Despite all the setbacks, she's now safe, happy and her daddies absolutely adore her.

We found Leurox in the street half of his face covered with what looked like severe infection. She was left in the street for so long untreated to the point that despite two skin grafting surgery, couldn't get his face fixed. A lady in New York saw him beyond what he looked like and adopted him. Babu was hit by a car left on the side of the road for days with her injuries. When we picked her up, she was in a right mess. It's a miracle that she survived, but lost both of her eyes.   A rescue group volunteer had to host her for one night and take her to the adoption center the following day. But they bonded with Babu and decided to adopt her. They were only supposed to do the airport pick up not to keep the cat!  Babu's humans absolutely love her to bits.

Casper was picked in the street during one of our spay and neuter projects. We've noticed one of his eyes was covered in blood. Couldn't save the eye. We've fully treated him and he found a home in Toronto.  He was such a sweet boy and one the rescue animals we have met. He is now living the best of Canadian life can offer.

Oscar was born blind in both eyes. He was trying to survive in the street, being attacked by older dogs. He had no chance of being adopted where he is from. He is one of the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet.  One of our rescue partner's helped us find a home. He now lives with two other seeing dogs running around in a large backyard safe from any harm. It's hard not to fall in love with Oscar.

Lola was at a shelter, left there with an eye infection and all very dirty as she was covered in asphalt in roadworks. She was supposed to be homed in Sweden, but hit problems at Swedesh customs threatened to put her to sleep. We had to save her furry arse again and bring her back to Istanbul. She is now adopted by an American couple and grown to be an adorable fluffy girl living a great life in Istanbul.

We found Benito as a very young pup on the side of the road on his own with no mum during our spay and neuter project. We brought him with us and he kept escaping under the rails running into the surgery area.  One of the vets felt so sorry for him and offered to find him home in Austria.  He had to wait 3 months before he was able to travel. He's been adopted out to a young gentleman where Benito gets to explore the beautiful scenery in Austria.

Jynx was a kitten when he came into our care. He had a broken leg and one his ear was drooping. We've got him treated, leg fixed but the ear is still floppy which is a part of his character and he's grown to be a handsome boy. He's been adopted by a lovely couple having the best time of his life. His daddies spoil him rotten opened their heart and home for this special boy.

Penny was at the brink of death when we got her. She must have had a string tied around her neck as a young pup and as she got bigger the string started to cut into her neck. It took months to heal, but she has transformed into an adorable sweet girl. With the help of one of our rescue partners, she has found a home of her own in New York, safe and loved dearly.

Our founder rescued Fluffy during one of the spay and neuter trips. One of his eyes was covered in infection. Initially he was homed in Istanbul, but a year later his adopters returned him back to us.  We took him back and sent him to San Francisco where he would never be  abandoned again.  He is now living a San Francisco life as the only pet in the house with his  humans.

We were asked to help Baxter who has been hit by a car and left untreated for weeks limping in the streets of Istanbul. We took him and treated his leg. He was a joy to have, friendly, always giving pawsome paws to people.  He is now enjoying a life he could never dreamt of and exploring the breathtaking beautiful mountains of Austria.

Milo - New York, USA

Milo is one our shelter rescues. He just had an operation to amputate his leg and left in one of the dirty cat rooms with no painkillers or antibiotics. He looked like he was in pain. We've transferred him to a private vet where he got treated. He was homed in Chicago initially, but we later discovered he was suited to being an only pet. He found his people in New York.
