He recently travelled all the way from Istanbul in search of a loving home where he can be safe, cared for and loved. Now looking for his forever home, currently in foster care in the Oxford area. He is about 5 - 6 years old, neutered and up to date with his vaccinations. He is good with other cats and a very affectionate cuddle bug.

Scout was living in the streets and always at risk of abuse, danger and going hungry. It's quite amazing that he made it thus far living a miserable life in the streets. A London based animal lover who visits Istanbul on a regular basis feeds and treats street animals gave him sanctuary in her garden where he would get regular food in his belly. However, people in the neighbourhood threw a massive stone which left him with a swollen and infected head. He was so scared for days and stressed from the trauma to the head. The lady decided to take him indoors and wanted to give him a chance of finding a safe home in the UK.

Scout was brought to the UK on the basis that a Kent based charity agreed to take and find him a suitable home. After a few weeks of his arrival, the charity hasn't been responding when he was due to be taken in.  The lady who brought him to the UK was due to travel back to Turkey and got stuck with Scout not knowing what to do she asked one of her friends in Oxford to take him until a long term solution is found. She reached out to us to help find a forever home and we couldn't say no.
