Pearl was trying to survive in the streets of Turkey with her 5 puppies not knowing when she was going to get her next meal, in constant danger of being run over, starvation or loosing her puppies. We don't know how Pearl ended up in the streets, but most probably she was in the hands of a breeder or abandoned by her previous owner. The puppies were too small to survive the harsh winter months. A lady who feeds cats and dogs in the area reached out to us pull them off the street.
