We pulled Rufus from a village in southern Turkey where he had a miserable existence. He was suffering from severe mange, barely getting any food and got shot in the leg because people didn't want him around. Through a volunteer we've organised his treatment for mange, treated his gun shot wounds, but he was still in the village and at risk and we asked our supporters to help us pull him from there.  He is fully rehabilitated and now looking for a forever home.

He is very sweet natured and gets along with other dogs and loves to give a paw to his humans. Ideally he is suited to a family with a house and garden. Don't let his size put you off. He is the best dog you can ever wish for. He's had a tough life and would love the opportunity to have a home of his own.
