Rosie’s life didn’t start easily, but this brave little girl has shown nothing but strength and sweetness through it all.

We found her in a shelter — frightened, huddled in a metal cage, and missing one of her back legs. We don’t know what happened to her, but like so many others, she had clearly endured more than any animal should. If we hadn’t rescued her, she would never have made it out alive.

Now safe in our care, Rosie is discovering that life can be kind. She’s only around one year old, full of love and gentle curiosity, and already adapting beautifully to life on three legs. Her spirit is as bright as her name — playful, affectionate, and always ready for a cuddle.

Rosie is currently with one of our volunteers in Turkey and is now looking for her forever home in the San Francisco area. Whoever adopts her will be rewarded with endless love, trust, and the joy of watching her truly blossom.
