Lourdes along with over 20 dogs was dumped in the middle of mountains by the local authorities leaving them to die with no food or water. Starving dogs appeared on the side of a road looking for food. They were at death's door. We've also discovered that Lourdes was actually shot by a rifle. The x-rays showed  various smaller bullet leads lodged in various parts of her body. Luckily  none around her joints or bones and she has not been left with any long term damage.

Lourdes is a very sweet affectionate girl between 3-4 years old, very calm, docile and and gets along with other dogs.  Her needs are basic -  food, love and a comfortable home environment.

Ideal home for Lourdes will be a house with access to outdoor spaces, someone who understands the needs of a rescue dog, giving her time to adjust  and provide  walking on lead or toilet training if required. She has lived on the streets as a pack and would be suited to have another dog mate. 

She has been overlooked by so many people. She is the sweetest girl and she would make the best companion ever if people saw beyond her size or breed. 

 

Without us giving her a chance,  she was going to live the rest of her life around a feeding point on the side of a road. She deserves a home. She is currently in one of the boarding facilities we use in Istanbul to keep her safe. Please consider giving this girl a home.
